Indianapolis, IN - May 7, 2007 -- SpinWeb Internet Media announces the launch of a new web site and brand for the Randolph Economic Development Corporation. The thought of creating an entity designated specifically for economic development and job growth stemmed from a meeting in March 1986 with about 60 Randolph County citizens. The concern for the county's future growth and development prompted two schools of thought - do something or do nothing. The Randolph County Community and Economic Development Corporation's first full year of operation was 1987, with its bylaws formally adopted on May 20, 1987. In late 1987, the REDC board of directors began discussion on hiring a full-time director.

The new web site, located at www.randolph-county.org, is a content-rich portal which communicates to existing citizens and business, as well as interested parties who are considering a move to Randolph County. The site is driven by the Freedom Application Suite which allows the REDC staff to update and manage all aspects of site content in real time using only a web browser. The new branding elements designed by SpinWeb include a new logo, tag line, business cards, letterhead, and mailers. The REDC was looking for a bold new image to move the region into the future and the board looked to SpinWeb to deliver these elements.
